About us
Pallot Cook Consulting provide expert HR advice to organisations 'on-demand'. We are so confident in our quality of service we do not tie you in - we enable you to access our services on an ad-hoc basis as suits your needs. For a start-up, this maybe every few months as you deal with hiring and on-boarding new employees; for slightly larger business this may be acting as your HR Director, being actively involved on a daily / weekly basis, and everything in between. We can provide maternity cover for a full range of roles - HR administrators, HR managers, Head of HR and HR Directors. We are very flexible so if you aren't sure what you need, talk to us. Our expertise is broad with our team used to all size of businesses and a wide range of industries. We can support a range of industries, and are currently working with organisations in Food & Beverage, Financial Services, FMCG, Technology, Consultancies, Medical Services, Retail and Health & Beauty, with the number of employees ranging from 2 to 450. We have recently launched our charity arm of the business and offer a reduced rate for charities of all sizes. Whether you are a business that is hiring your first employee, an SME who requires more extensive HR services, or a charity trying to ensure you are doing things in the most efficient way possible, we are committed to understanding your unique needs and providing a solution to match. We are passionate about enabling businesses to succeed through talent.

If you're an employer, from October this year, *you* have a legal obligation to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment in your workplace. What is reasonable? Well, that depends on many factors. It is likely to be reasonable based on your size (financial, presence, employee numbers etc.) and it requires you to be proactive in approach. This is not an area you can react to - you need to plan. The financial cost for not doing this is up to 25% additional compensation awarded through a tribunal.
