Out The Box is a hub that exists to equip young black creative, entrepreneurial talent.
About us
Established in 2014, Out The Box is a hub that exists to equip young black creative, entrepreneurial talent with the opportunities and connections they need through virtual events and workshops, and industry opportunities. Through our events and partnerships over the years, Out The Box has built a robust community of Black and minority ethnic creatives, professionals, and networks. In 2019, after many conversations and inquiries from brands and companies who were lacking strong pipelines of Black creative professionals, and new brands who wanted to rapidly increase their networks, we ventured out into community management.

Founder of Out The Box, Community Advocate and Builder, Speaker and Facilitator, Journalist, Writer and Editor, Communications Manager
A few January highlights: Cultivating a new groove and reigniting lost passion ✨ 🎤 Kicked off the month by speaking to more than 100 entrepreneurs and small business owners at 🧡 Mel Larsen - Marketing Coach/Consultant’s FutureSeed - an online retreat for entrepreneurs. On the equity stage I asked the question “Who’s in the room?” and emphasised the importance of amplifying Black voices in leadership and decision making. The perfect segue into speaking about Black at Work - Out The Box’s event and training platform for Black employees and allies. 📔Attended the launch of issue 3 of Black Business Magazine! Big up Justice Williams MBE and Dr Tru Powell. The community has been needing this. Was a pleasure to see so many new and familiar faces. 📸 Cooked up something special with my Bro courtney " CS " salmon at his studios - Toneset Studios. Had to rope in my bestie (House of Tresses) to slay my hair. Lets just say I can finally get rid of this DP😂
