We are pleased to announce that OEG Renewables business Bluestream has been awarded a large remedial campaign by Vattenfall and Stadtwerke München GmbH on the DanTysk and Sandbank offshore wind farms. The DanTysk and Sandbank wind farms have a combined capacity of 576 MW and cover an area of 150 sq. km with 152 turbines. The remedial works by Bluestream will ensure the continued integrity and operational performance of these offshore wind assets, which are critical to supporting Germany’s and the EU’s energy transition ambitions. The Albyn School F24 team of students are due to take part in various races throughout the year as part of the Greenpower Education Trust. The project challenges the students to design, build and race an electric car. The Green Arrows recently took part in a race at Alford Transport Museum where they came in 1st in their category and 3rd overall. We are pleased to announce the appointment of Rolf de Vries as Subsea Director for OEG Renewables. Rolf will be part of the OEG Renewables senior management team, leading the strategic direction of the Subsea division, supporting the strengthening of its resources and capabilities to meet OEG’s ambitious growth strategy. He will also remain as the Managing Director of OEG Renewables business Bluestream Offshore located in Den Helder, in The Netherlands, which was acquired by OEG in December 2023. At OEG Renewables our subsea and cable service lines work collaboratively to deliver an integrated range of specialist solutions to support the reliable, safe and efficient delivery of our customers' offshore wind projects. GEOSIGHT, an OEG Renewables company, recently conducted a geophysical survey of a nearshore cable route corridor near Lowestoft; MBES, SSS, SBP and Magnetometer survey services were provided as part of this work scope, including the use of a Norbit iWBMS shallow water MBES, permanently mounted on the GEOSIGHT owned catamaran, Taran. This project is an example of our wide-ranging technical expertise, enabling OEG Renewables to deliver exceptional support services for a variety of energy projects.
