⭐NOVA is delighted to be heading to BRISTOL!⭐ WEDNESDAY 17th JULY, 6.30pm A riverside location in the heart of Bristol! Our Founder Billie O'Connor will be meeting NOVA Members across our CFO/FD cohort, along with meeting “NOVA Curious” - those female senior leaders not yet a member but interested in learning more about how they can connect with their peers as part of this powerful yet relaxed network.

NOVA is excited to announce we are holding another breakfast at the beautiful venue The Old Sessions House part of Knotel. Old Sessions House offers a very special opportunity for an occupier to be truly inspired by their surroundings, with special views over Clerkenwell Green. There is 18843 square feet of rejuvenated space available in this unique former courthouse, which dominates Clerkenwell Green on an island site. The building has undergone a full, sympathetic refurbishment to provide one of central London’s truly rare opportunities. Since the building’s completion a wide range of events have also been held on site such as the Autumn 2017 Burberry fashion show and art exhibition, Dezeen awards 2019 and Elle decoration awards to name a few. "My Route to CFO".... NOVA in conversation with Sam Fletcher Monday 15. July at 12:00pm" We are delighted to bring our series of “My Route to CFO - NOVA in conversation with….” Virtual Events ⭐️ This is a monthly series aimed for those looking to make that step from Head of or Financial Controller, or from FD to a larger role. We will be interviewing brilliant female Finance Leaders about their path to the No 1 role in finance. Their journey, their challenges, their highs. There is no one route to the top! Sharing experiences can then help each of us from our own thoughts along our career. On this event, we will be speaking to Sam Fletcher our NOVA member. Sam Fletcher joined Houseful, the parent company of Zoopla Limited and several other property market-related group companies, as Finance Director in 2021. Shortly after, she was appointed Chief Finance Officer (CFO). Often calling herself the "Accidental CFO," Sam is driven by a passion for efficiency, sensible decision-making, and team development rather than a strong desire for the CFO title itself. This position at Houseful is her first experience working for a PE house. Before joining Houseful, Sam held significant roles including Finance Director at TripAdvisor and Viator, and Chief Financial Officer at AFerry. Her career also includes various commercial finance, financial accounting, and auditing roles at M&S, Dell, Hallmark Cards UK, and Ernst & Young, where she first met Billie. Sam is the chair of The Bridge network at Houseful, which focuses on improving ethnic diversity and inclusion within the organisation. Before her demanding private equity role, she was actively involved in a grassroots adoption charity, We are Family CIO, where she volunteered pro bono one day a week as trustee and treasurer. Additionally, she has served as a respite foster carer and hopes to return to this role when time permits. This morning we will be welcoming 12 NOVA Members to the beautiful Kettners Champagne Bar, to meet and connect, and then to enjoy our Coaching Curious Breakfast. Over fruit and pastries, our Members will form small groups of four, and over the course of two hours, meet each other but also spend time with three different and highly experienced Executive Coaches. We will explore ☑️ what true Executive Coaching is ☑️ how it differs from Mentoring and Advisory and Sponsorship ☑️ how would you work with an Executive Coach ☑️ what are the benefits ☑️ the coaches will share what kind of topics they have been asked to explore and work on with other senior clients ☑️ the coaches will be able to answer any questions raised on the morning This is our second Coaching Curious event to help educate members - whether they are dipping their toe in with just curiosity, or preparing to go on a fuller coaching journey and next step.
