On Friday 21st June, Darren, along with around 100 riders, will gather in Florence for the 'Grand Depart'. He will be riding the first 9 stages of the Tour de France route, covering a total of 1700km! Throughout these stages, he will climb the equivalent of 18 kilometers (nearly 3 times the height of Mount Everest 🏔). We were delighted to open the doors to Nido Randwyck in Maastricht over the weekend and welcome the 🇳🇱 Nido community to our newest residence 💙. Focusing on sustainability and design, Nido Randwyck features 506 studios and thoughtfully designed study and social spaces, including a gym, garden, lounges, private dining facilities, and co-working areas. We proudly collaborated with award-winning interior design agency A Designer At Heart Ltd to capture our wellbeing design ethos throughout these spaces. Located in the Randwyck district, the accommodation is a short walk or cycle from the Maastricht University faculties, the city centre and numerous visitor attractions. Nido Randwyck also incorporates various sustainability features such as a largely wooden facade cladding, surrounding garden areas with water retention for rainwater from the roof, solar panels to reduce energy consumption, a full electric low-temperature climate system, LED lighting and motion sensors.
