We're proud to announce Nexus Mutual's strategic partnership with InShare SMART Risk, a specialist in alternative risk transfer and mutuals. InShare, acting as a representative for a membership organization of independent retail businesses, is working with Nexus Mutual to expand capacity and cover more than 5,000 small independent business owners in the UK. InShare purchased excess of loss and aggregate stop loss cover, which allows their client to pass risk onto Nexus Mutual's $274M capital pool. Through our groundbreaking collaboration with InShare, Nexus Mutual is the first to use on-chain capital to cover excess losses for a traditional discretionary mutual. By working with Nexus Mutual, InShare can protect more independent businesses throughout the UK and offset small business risk such as fire, theft and accidental damage. The Q1 Insights Report is live on the forum: https://lnkd.in/d2Jcqi38 📊 During the first quarter of 2024, Nexus Mutual's cover fee earnings reached ~$550,000, marking a significant 162% growth from Q4 2023. 🛡️ We introduced Bundled Protocol Cover, which allows members to purchase protection for multi-protocol strategies bundled into one Cover NFT 🤝 The Mutual’s ecosystem partners are expanding access to Protocol Cover: with OpenCover, DeFi users can purchase cover on Layer 2’s of their choice without going through KYC. 📈 In Q2, we’ll announce initiatives that will expand our footprint in DeFi and onboard more builders and community members into our ecosystem.
