Moulded Foams celebrates Passivhaus Trust membership As the focus of the construction industry becomes more sustainability driven, Moulded Foams thrives as a member of the Passivhaus Trust, an independent industry leading organisation that promotes the adoption of Passivhaus in the UK as part of the global Passivhaus movement. Since developing its unique GDeck beam and block insulated flooring system, Moulded Foams have future proofed GDeck to surpass the current Part L Building Regulations and Future Homes Standard and indeed form an integral part of the housing fabric in Passivhaus design, on our journey to net zero carbon emissions. Managing Director Gareth Bevan noted "With buildings being a significant culprit of carbon emissions and accountable currently for 35% of total global energy consumption, we see the promotion of Passivhaus standards as a key driver to creating a sustainable housing stock here in the UK.
