As part of our celebrations for South Asian Heritage Month, we were delighted to be joined by Jaspreet Kaur (Hothi), also known by her online handle 'Behind the Netra'. Jaspreet is an award-winning spoken word artist, history teacher and writer from London. Using her extensive background in academia, passion for social change and poetry, Jaspreet was able to share lots of wisdom and interesting stats about a range of topics affecting South Asians. This innovative project explores the multifaceted applications of biochar, a carbon-rich material derived from residual organic waste, and its potential to combat climate change.
