Have you heard of hepatitis C? Anyone can acquire hepatitis C - using drugs like cocaine or heroin, injecting steroids and having a tattoo, piercing or medical procedure abroad are just a few ways you can contract it. The virus can be cured, but if left untreated it can lead to liver damage, cirrhosis, and even liver cancer. This World Hepatitis Day we are urging anyone who thinks that they may be at risk to order a free and confidential home testing kit: hepctest.nhs.uk/ref/whd24 Last year, MPFT's Inclusion achieved the major milestone of micro-elimination of hepatitis C within all its services: https://lnkd.in/ex4PjaKU #Worldhepatitisday #hepatitisC #hepC #hepatitisawareness #hepatitistesting #liverhealth

We’re pleased to share this lovely feedback for the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Talking Therapies Service. Congratulations team! #MPFTCelebrates "Thank you for working with me so thoughtfully and patiently over recent months. Our conversations have made a massive difference to how I think of events in my life and given me a range of new perspectives and skills which I am already benefitting from. I hope to build on them further as life unfolds. Please accept my sincere appreciation."

This note of thanks was received by the Trust for the Paediatric Speech and Language Team in East Staffordshire. Well done Helen and team, great work! #MPFTCelebrates “I would like to thank Helen... after her help and showing me what she does I have seen a good improvement in both [children]. Also thank you for your resources that I have been able to use, this has really helped with focus and fun. Thank you so much.”

We’re happy to share this compliment sent to us from the spouse of a recent patient of our Mental Health Team in Telford. Great work team! #MPFTCelebrates “Whilst not mentioning individual names as you are all as good as each other, I would thank every single person for their help and dedication in treating my wife. I doubt that without your help she would be with us today. A heartfelt thank you from both of us. [We] wish you all the very best, it is nice to know that there are still some dedicated people about.”
