A truly special and historic day today with the first ever elite game of disability cricket taking place on the main pitch at Lord's. Fantastic work by our partners Marylebone Cricket Club and Lord's Taverners, an event for all with top-class cricket, taster sessions, excited young people and special guests. Thanks to Ben Foakes, Nathan Lyon and Adam Hills for being a part of it.

💬 "I really didn't have much confidence in myself, but when I joined cricket, things have been better for me" Lord's Taverners' mission is to include and empower more women and girls to play cricket by creating bespoke cricket sessions across the UK 🏏 Earlier this year, newly opened girls-only Yorkshire Cricket Foundation Wicketz hubs from Leeds, Bradford and Hull joined at Headingley Stadium for a cricket festival where young people were able to compete, share their experiences and show off their skills.
