London Festival of Architecture
Architecture and Planning
The world's largest annual architecture festival. 1-30 June 2024 #LFAat20 #Reimagine
About us
The London Festival of Architecture celebrates London as the unrivalled global city for architecture. The London Festival of Architecture began in 2004, and has since grown to become Europe's biggest annual architecture festival. The festival attracts a vast public audience – well over 600,000 people in 2018 – and a global media audience of millions. The vast majority of events are free, and are staged by a core festival programming team working alongside architecture and design practices and practitioners, leading cultural and academic institutions, artists and many others. In 2017 the London Festival of Architecture was named by Mayor of London Sadiq Khan as one of his design advocate organisations, and is working alongside the Mayor's team to champion architecture, provide expertise and guidance, and help to make London a better city.

We were delighted to partner with Architecture LGBT+ at #LondonPride2024 to present ‘Homes in every Hue’ at the parade! 🌈 Designed by andre kong studio, the float underscored the significance of shelter and housing for everyone in our towns and cities. Under a vibrant rainbow canopy, we joined the parade with our people-powered float and represented architects and the built environment at this year's Pride in London. Photography by Luke O'Donovan. #LFA2024 may have come to an end, but there’s plenty more going on across the city! #StreetAssemblies by Urban Radicals has seen four Street Assembly platforms installed across the City of London, as they #reimagine alternative parliament typologies and forms. Head down to the #PUBLICASSEMBLY for public debate, discussions, performances, summer screenings and small community gatherings, or visit the #ROUNDTABLE, designed for shared meals and discussions that, informally or formally, invite the public to sit down for exchange and deliberation. Reflect on the city and share your opinions at the #SPEAKERSPLINTHS and visit the #VOICINGPOD, to see an archive of seeds historically imported into London, narrating stories of migration and cultural exchange. Created in partnership with Fleet Street Quarter, Culture Mile BID, Migration Museum, Aldgate Connect BID, EC BID with support from Millimetre Makes and AKT II.
