🔊 Feedback from our recent sessions held at Liverpool Hope University Business School (LHBS) 💫🎓 🗣️“As a senior academic advisor I often deal with students who disclose mental health issues. The workshop was excellent in highlighting the important role we all play in supporting students. Excellent for those who might be less confident or don’t how to react when mental health issues are disclosed” 🗣️“Engaging and very well delivered, just the right amount of content” 🗣️“It is like a toolkit” We LOVED working with the facility staff at Hope and we’re looking forward to implementing our future initiatives! #Mentalhealth #Universitymentalhealth

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week! 💜 This year’s theme is movement: moving more for our mental health. Movement is important for our mental health. But so many of us struggle to move enough. We know there are many different reasons for this, so this Mental Health Awareness Week we want to help you find more moments for movement in your daily routine. Going for a walk in your neighbourhood, putting on your favourite music and dancing around the living room, chair exercises when you’re watching TV – it all counts! 👉 All week, we’ll be sharing tips, advice, and information to help you get the mental health benefits of movement. 📢 Share what you get up to this week using #MomentsForMovement! #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #MHAW

Brilliant few days working with Faye Boswell from Let's Listen with my amazing colleagues from Manchester Metropolitan University Business School on the important topic of mental health within higher education. The workshops for colleagues were superb and raised awareness of how we support our students and also how we prioritise our own mental health. Thanks Faye and see you for the next step of our journey soon!

It is vital to recognise the challenges that students face when it comes to mental health. Did you know that 1 in 6 students report suffering from mental health issues, with 64% feeling that university negatively impacts mental wellbeing? At Let's Listen, we believe in the power of promoting mental wellbeing for both staff and students 🎓 We are thrilled to announce an ongoing project dedicated to enhancing mental health support and awareness on campus at The Manchester Metropolitan University and beyond! Together, we can create a supportive and inclusive environment that prioritises mental wellness 🧠💪🏻 #universitymentalhealth #MentalWellbeing #LetsListen #MMU

🏌️♂️We recently provided training to Zing Construction, incorporating our golf sporting experience into their learning journey 🙌🏻 🚧 Shockingly, 1-2 construction workers in the UK alone take their own lives every single day with the sector suffering from one of the worst mental health rates. We aim to support different groups with breaking the stigma surrounding mental health issues. Our training program is designed to address mental health challenges and promote a healthier work environment. Let’s Listen and prioritise mental health and well-being 🧠💪 #MentalHealthAwareness #ConstructionIndustry

We all know by now that Blue Monday is a complete myth. Here’s the tea: it was quite literally made up in 2005 to help a travel company sell holidays. It’s just a marketing gimmick – there’s no science to back it up and it feeds into unhelpful stereotypes about mental health. Join us for ✨Brew Monday ✨instead and spread some positivi-tea 💚☕ Our bad days aren’t for the calendar to decide and people can feel low any day of the year, but checking in with our colleagues and having a proper chat can make a real difference.
