    If you talk to anyone who works in SEO they'll tell you how backlinks help give your website/content more authority, making it go up in the search rankings... So for our next CV #quickwin, we're saying to treat your CV like a website! Add relevant links to your previous work to boost and showcase your knowledge and subject authority to your potential new employers!

    • Downloadable content: If you have any published articles, blog posts, or talks at conferences, include the links to them in your CV. They showcase your thought leadership and engagement with the industry.

    For our next CV quick win let's avoid saying things like: 📎 “I’m organised” 👯 “I work well in a team” 📺 “I love playing video games” Stand out by getting more granular with your skills and interests by saying: 📎 "I managed three projects successfully to completion" 👯 "I worked with the development and marketing team to meet the deadline" 📺 "My favourite video games to play our 80s/90s retro PC games"

    • Avoid cliche phrases. It’s easy to jot down generic phrases for your skills and interests, but it won't set you apart. Instead, try using specific examples of those skills and unique interests you are passionate about.
