This will be a full-time permanent position, working hours will be Monday to Thursday 8am till 16:30pm, and Friday 8am till 14:30pm 38hr total, some overtime working maybe required. This position is open to local personnel only. No travelling or accommodation rates will be paid. This Role will commence from January 3rd, 2024. General Responsibilities To assist the management team with the running and management of the Stores, equipment and goods required for the Business requirements. To align with Yard supervisor as required, facilitating in the distribution of Equipment and materials pertinent to job requirements. Specific Responsibilities Issuing of Equipment, Tooling, PPE and Consumables. Responsible for maintaining Stock levels, (Consignment, PPE. Etc) and updating inventory management systems regularly. Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received Receiving good and Distribution of Goods receipts to responsible department. To minimize waste, e.g., PPE, tools, consumables. To monitor usage and minimise exploitation of resources/materials. Ensure issued tools/equipment are returned to the stores, Check condition and notify management of defect and Quarantine/Dispose arrange repair if required. Ensure good housekeeping within the stores area. Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock. Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items Report directly to Yard/QA Manager of shortages and issues that may arise. Management of bottled Gases, ordering/restocking when required. Overseeing along with management any yard assistance personnel. To manage tooling and lifting containers specific to the Yard and smaller project. (Separate from Main stores). To support Management and Workshops as required with forklift and other driving duties. Key Qualities · Computer literate with Knowledge of Microsoft office systems. · Minimum of 5 Years experience of stores and warehouse operations. · Preferably hold a valid Telehandler licence. · Full Clean driving licence, Preferably with Class 1 and 2 · Preferably Certificated to carry out Pat testing of electrical equipment. · Strong attention to detail and accuracy. · Organised, Good Punctuality. · Have strong communication skills. · Knowledge of tools and lifting equipment would be an advantage. · Ability to work unsupervised.
