I took a course through Into Games called "Setting Up An Indie Studio" that was led by Rami Ismail, and I cannot stress how incredible it was. Throughout the 3-week sprint, we learned what goes into leading a successful development team, how to market ourselves to publishers, and even had the opportunity to talk to some other professionals in the industry (George Willard and Rahul Gandhi) who gave us insight on publisher point-of-view and legal point-of-view respectively. This course has changed how I look at indie development, and you can bet that I'll be taking the lessons I learned with me for the rest of my career. A massive thank you to all of my classmates, the wonderful folks at Into Games who put this on, and of course the instructors who took the time to share their knowledge with us.
