The Animal Bricktacular event is set to showcase hundreds of real-life animals and 40 stunning life-size sculptures, crafted from over 2 million colourful bricks. The IHEEM competition will be located near the 12ft brick-build giraffe where young people can register in our exciting competition and be in with a chance to win a trip to Legoland. This year's Authorising Engineers conference at Epsom Racecourse gathered an audience of dedicated AEs, healthcare engineering and estates professionals. The day was started by IHEEM CEO, Pete Sellars, with a welcome address, and continued with presentations from the Technical Platforms, updates from the Decontamination Board, and Quiqsolutions on the Paper to Digital governance audit tool. IHEEM COO, Tania Davies, and IHEEM Council Representative, James Chadwick, offered an insight into the recently launched IHEEM Mentoring scheme and presented a live demonstration of how the MyIHEEM Mentor recording system operates. The day was concluded by IHEEM president, Alison Ryan, who encouraged anyone interested in mentoring or seeking support as a mentee to utilise the the IHEEM Mentor scheme, and thanked all attendees for another successful event.

Only one week to go until the most unique event of the summer. From the 13th of July, Animal Bricktacular is arriving at Twycross Zoo. With hundreds of real-life animals, 40 life-size sculptures, interactive games, and stimulating contests, this event promises interesting and enjoyable moments for the whole family. As part of this event, IHEEM will be launching a STEM competition for under 18s where participants will be asked to design a poster under three categories: save animals, save people, save the planet. The 2024 Authorising Engineering Conference is only one week away.
