What a month it has been for our Masterclasses! Last week co-founder Bianca Errigo returned to long standing client of ours Philip Morris International. With over 82’000 employees globally Bianca works closely with the People & Culture team at PMI to ensure these sessions are tailored to their needs and the information provided will always resonate with their people. We have also run x3 live masterclasses on the platform this month: Female Health Coach Alex discussed all things “Learning to Relax”. Taking users through a journey of exploring actionable tools to help calm the nervous system before it spirals out of control, as well as different ways to prevent overwhelm from happening. Bianca led a masterclass on “Excelling in Your Career” with a focus on optimising daily habits, behaviours and mindset in order to execute effectively on your daily actions and get ahead in your career. Then on Wednesday Nutrition Lead Alja Spoljaric will take us a through a live session on “Do Diets Even Work?”. Delving into what ultimately makes diet interventions successful and what makes weight maintenance so challenging. Exploring the psychological impacts of dieting and why shifting our focus to health over weight loss might be the answer to long-term ‘diet’ success. I realised after a workshop I delivered last week I have been working with some of my enterprise clients for almost 5yrs now (where does time go someone tell me?!). One organisation that falls into this long-standing client bracket of mine is Philip Morris International. When I started delivering talks and workshops my only motivation was the desire to reach more people than I could just continuing with 1:2:1 work. Last week with PMI reminded me just how special this side of my job is. There is something about the feeling you get seeing familiar faces in these sessions. Despite many of my clients having tens of thousands of employees, these sessions really allow me to get to know some of them as human beings and build genuine relationships with them. It becomes so much more than delivering a workshop. You care about these people. You want to know how they are and how they are getting on. The first five minutes of these sessions are often some of my favourites as we get to touch base briefly. I can see their faces and hear how they are doing. Equally, in each session, there are many new faces and the opportunity to develop new relationships. Their interaction and optimism always shine through—even through a screen. These sessions truly are one of the best, most special parts of my job. PMI, thank you for having me. It is ALWAYS a pleasure.
