Want to become a RICS qualified Surveyor 👀 ❓Not sure where to start 👇 💁♂️ Without a degree 💁♀️ Degree apprenticeships - A fantastic route to gaining first hand skills and experience whilst developing skills that are in demand nationally. Open to anyone aged 16 or older and requiring a minimum of 30 hours’ work a week. Advanced apprenticeship - 5 GCSEs at grades A* to C – This must include English and maths. This can take between two and four years to complete. Degree apprenticeship - 4 GCSEs at grades A* to C, plus three A levels. This can take between three and six years to complete, with chartered surveyor apprenticeships lasting five years for undergraduates. 👨🎓 With a degree 👩🎓 You can become a surveyor by completing a degree in a related subject, and are more than 1,200 relevant RICS-accredited courses to choose from. You can get in touch with RICS or your university preferences to learn about what course may be suited to you. If you have a degree but it isn't surveying-related, you can still pursue the career by studying an RICS-accredited postgraduate course. How do I become Chartered ❓ 👇 To qualify as a chartered surveyor, you need to gain a required combination of relevant experience and qualifications. Then, you must complete the appropriate Chartered Assessment route, the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) being the most common.
