Government Digital Service

Government Relations Services

Leading the digital transformation of the UK government.

About us

The Government Digital Service (GDS) is here to design and protect the user experience of digital government for everyone. GDS is where talent translates into impact. From your first day, you’ll be working with some of the world’s most highly-skilled digital professionals, all contributing their knowledge to make change on a national scale. We are a team of around 750 product managers, software engineers, designers, researchers, technical architects and other specialists. We’re based in London, Manchester, Bristol and in our home offices. Join us for rewarding work that makes a difference across the UK. You'll solve some of the nation’s highest-priority digital challenges, helping millions of people access services they need. You could work on GOV.UK, the award-winning digital hub of government information and services. Or the career-defining challenge of creating a single sign-in for all government services, with GOV.UK One Login. You could also be part of the team building a host of platforms, products and tools designed to create great public services that are accessible, inclusive and easy to use. And as you make an impact at GDS, you’ll be supported by an inclusive workplace with world-class learning provision, and a flexible, hybrid approach you can shape around your needs.
