"If there's a culturally relevant moment that aligns well with a brand, you press go." This afternoon we had the pleasure of welcoming our friends from the Advertising Association and Contagious to the Goodstuff stage to talk about "Trust and Fame" in the advertising industry, and the importance of both in the work we do. We started with an exciting deep dive into trust, thanks to Advertising Association. Then, we broke down the biggest takeaways from Cannes in "Cannes Deconstructed," with insights from Contagious. A huge thank you to our fantastic presenters, Dan Wilks, Stephen Woodford, and David Beresford, and to all our wonderful clients who joined us to explore these important topics together. Now time for an aperol spritz we think... 🧡

They delved into marketing mix modelling (MMM) in OOH advertising, exploring how post-campaign analysis for OOH can be revamped to measure results more effectively in this difficult-to-evaluate medium. This morning, we joined The Advertising Association for their post-election analysis breakfast, The Votes Are In, with Steve Richards. Of all the valid points Steve raised, one in particular resonated with us. Steve referred to “power making politicians beautiful,” suggesting the new government is seemingly flourishing in power rather than letting it paralyse them. It got us thinking about how marketers could benefit from this idea of embracing power. As we (hopefully) make our way out of the current economic downturn, marketers can now demonstrate their confidence in the impact that media and marketing can have and fight for more advertising investment. In our opinion, marketers should take the marketing agenda to the table, believe in their power, and engage us to create only the good stuff together. 🤝 Sarah Virani Sharon Lloyd Barnes Sam Drake Christopher Sloane
