We can't believe today marks two years since Gees reopened its glass doors to Oxford, introducing an all-new utopia with a new bar, Secret Garden terrace and Gees Gallery! We've had so many gratifying moments since then, big and small... - You may recall that we were awarded the Oxford Preservation Trust plaque for our contribution towards Oxford's rich heritage and green spaces; an achievement that means a lot to us and our ethos. You can spot the plaque on your next visit, just beside the entrance to Gees Gallery - We hosted 15 wedding receptions, over 200 private dining, meetings & conferences, and a handful of exclusive hires, including the 10th Annual and final Mogford Prize Party, celebrating the literary landscape and the launch of our ‘Food & Drink Short Stories’ book... all in true Mediterranean fashion! Plus, Gees Gallery hosted an array of private events, both charitable and non, including the The Prince's Trust Brilliant Breakfast, Photo Oxford Festival and Experience Oxfordshire's Ambassador Dinners - Lee Parsons joined our team as Head Chef and re-launched the Express Lunch and Brunch menus at Gees - The radiant Secret Garden was featured in the Metro, The Times and The Telegraph... meanwhile, we also saw our very first bloom of stunning white Allium flowers Many glasses of sangria have been poured since 2022, and we hope it continues to leave you with as many good memories as it has us thus far.
