Consumer Duty has been in force for nearly a year now, and this week (Wednesday 31 July) is the FCA deadline for firms to complete their first annual Consumer Duty board reports. We recently conducted research into firms approaches to Consumer Duty Reporting.   This report explores the many changes that firms have made in response to the Consumer Duty, including changes in culture, to customer communications, and reporting. This week (Wednesday 31 July) is the FCA deadline for firms to complete their first annual Consumer Duty board reports. At FBC, one of our key objectives is to help fund boards navigate and implement all the Financial Conduct Authority’s regulatory requirements - including the Consumer Duty.  FBC's Brandon Horwitz and Mary Came have recently conducted research into firms approaches to Consumer Duty Reporting, investigating the challenges and highlighting good practices to help fund boards further enhance their Consumer Duty oversight.
