I really enjoyed Friday's launch event for the Barclays Black Founder Accelerator programme. I'm very grateful and happy to have been accepted into this invaluable programme. This is a belated post, but I had to share about my fantastic experience at Founderfest 2024. I saw some brilliant, innovative startup pitches and heard so many valuable tips from industry leaders. Their shared experiences and growth strategies are crucial for anyone looking to make a positive difference in their business and beyond. The event also offered a fantastic networking platform, where I connected with like-minded people passionate about driving change and positively impacting the world. To top it all off, I was completely blown away after winning the People's Choice Award at the event (and with a really generous bonus included)! I have been working on an invention called Adori. This is something close to my heart that will bring joy and comfort to many people. Adori is the first device in the world to share the movements and kicks of a baby in the womb with a recipient. The pregnant woman wears a safe pressure-sensitive covering that tracks the baby's movements in the womb. This data is transferred to an app and downloaded onto the recipient's device. So, anyone wearing the recipient device can also feel the baby's kicks. As data is sent via an app, you don't have to be physically near each other for this to work; as long as there is the transmitter device, the recipient device and the app, you can be separated by distance and still feel the baby's kicks. Adori is all about inclusivity and bringing people together through technology. Adori is a patented prototype in the UK, US, and Europe. To complete the final stages of testing, I need some more support. That's why I am reaching out to this fantastic network on LinkedIn to spread the word about Adori. Whether sharing this post or telling your friends, family, and co-workers, every little bit helps. Hey everyone! My name is Zeiynab, and I'm a 27-year-old female inventor from London. I'm excited to share my latest invention with all of you! As a child, I was drawn to innovation and technology. My brain wouldn't stop coming up with new ideas. Now, I am fortunate enough to turn my passion into a career. Later, diagnosed with OCD and ADHD, I realised that my constant stream of ideas and thoughts was actually a superpower. It allows me to solve problems efficiently and come up with innovative solutions. And my invention is a testament to that! Being a mum to my beautiful baby has also influenced my journey as an inventor. Being pregnant helped me improve my invention as I became my own case study for the prototype.
