Using software to create a weekly newsletter. At FinText, we wanted to launch a newsletter and build a direct relationship with the investment management community. But the time demands were untenable. We then realised lots of businesses share our predicament: On the one hand, UK financial services account for 8% of the GDP. On the other, 94% of its twenty thousand companies are made up of companies with ten employees or less. To address our own challenges at writing for our audience, we’ve developed Stedili. FinText was its first guinea pig! Would it deliver a worthy newsletter? Would we have the data to back it up? The results are in. https://lnkd.in/eijHyyiD

This week in 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 we talk about a new term for AI-generated content – Slop! – and why it’s leading fund buyers to want even more in-person engagement. Also, it looks like Ether ETFs are coming. Bitcoin ETFs are already in the market. So: Should crypto ETFs be sold like thematic ETFs? If so, what is the story? And if not, how should they be sold? Finally, a cool AI use case from JP Morgan, which sheds light on why they are offering prompt training to all their new recruits. https://lnkd.in/eGWMRDyT

Founder | FinText: Automating financial storytelling

This week Google launched its new range of AI products. Right after, it held the European AI conference at its EMEA headquarters. As a startup you had to apply to get in, a couple of months before. I applied with Stedili - FinText’s new product - and I guess they liked it. So here’s what happened at the event: First off, Google wants you to know it’s launching online training on building AI agents. It’s not an ongoing thing, there’s a specific start date and it is coming up. I’m posting the image with the link if you want to check it out. On the day, the place was packed, and there were several streams happening at once, which is probably why the control room looks like it’s about to launch us all into orbit. Congrats to Adam Fulham for putting it all together brilliantly. Being in Dublin, obviously there was some focus on the Irish tech scene, and I got to meet some terrific Irish companies. But, purely through chance conversations, I came across fellow Londoners, as well as founders from Sweden, Germany and Finland. With Brexit, London has definitely been losing some of this melting-pot vibrancy. Finally, the prize for the most fun slide goes to HBAN. They help Irish startups raise money and have helpfully narrowed a year in the life of a VC investor into a bar chart. The gilets were a nice touch 😄

Most B2B companies lack the resources to create regularly. They can't afford full time creators, and agencies are both expensive and risky. GenAI alone has not solved this! But we have a magic power: ✨ Other ‘writing technology’ solutions are built by professional engineers, who have not spent any time working as professional writers.  We have. And today we're proud to introduce Stedili - where we codify the process of creating thought leadership, reducing it to mostly clicks, drags and drops. Read about it here: https://lnkd.in/ezvq83FH

A fitness app for marketing content: sounds like a random, AI-generated idea, right? Wrong. Companies have internal processes to manufacture new content. From quantity to style to topics, the resulting output reflects the process creating it. But how should companies measure and improve their process? How do they know what needs to change? Our app benchmarks a company's content against its competitors. And shows how to appeal like the content that clients already enjoy. Come take a look 👣

Very cool, yet not quite helpful: has this been your experience with AI? Most companies are still searching for those magical productivity gains. We're here to help: FinText has been educating clients from the early days of the AI rush on the tools available and how to put them to use. We deliver training sessions that shift the focus from the *tech*...to *the process* of creating value for the business. See for yourself 👇 https://lnkd.in/euxMJpcV

Last week, FinText had the great pleasure of working with Bayes Business School and their Global MBA cohort. The team put an intense effort towards collecting and analysing data on the current state of content generation. They’ve done so with fantastic grace and charm. 🙏 We hope to share some of their findings in the next couple of months – some very interesting data and insights Stay tuned!
