Cibutex Xchange By Fiare and Cibutex Ever since its inception, Cibutex has been promoting circularity of the (business) textile industry. In Cibutex’s view, circularity is not the sum of a number of individual achievements by separate organisations and companies. Circularity is the combined effort of all parties involved in the production, use and recycle phase of the lifecycle of a product. In line with this vision, Cibutex is very happy to announce the cooperation with Fiare Solutions Oy, from Helsinki, Finland. Fiare is a technology and digital transformation company, specialized in creating online business platforms and securely hosted cloud solutions. For Cibutex, Fiare builds an essential application: Cibutex Xchange. Cibutex Xchange is the online platform where supply, demand and logistics of pre-recycled textiles come together. With this platform, available volumes of textile from various locations can easily be combined into larger volumes. When the textile recycling facilities are supplied with sizeable volumes of waste material, they can increase their output of of high-grade recycled materials for the production of new textiles. The new production cycles will thus require less and less virgin materials. With the Fiare technology, Cibutex will not just promote circularity of the textile industry, but will make a solid contribution towards realizing this ambition as well. - Cibutex builds an international network of companies in the textile industry. This ‘Coalition of the Willing’ is jointly working on circularity of the production cycle. In particular, Cibutex addresses the issue of efficiently collecting post-use business textiles and recycle them back into the production process without sacrificing quality (‘textile to textile’).
