Extreme E And ENOWA achieve major green hydrogen milestone at Hydro X Prix Extreme E and ENOWA celebrated a unique milestone in motorsport at the Hydro X, producing 80% of the race site power with hydrogen fuel cells - more than double the levels previously achieved. Using 700kg of green hydrogen supplied by ENOWA, the Official Green Hydrogen Power Partner of Extreme E, and fuel cell technology supplied by Kaizen Clean Energy, the race site was able to use the 11 Megawatt-hours (MWh) produced to support car charging, catering, and event control power. That is equivalent to the energy required to power 1000 homes in the UK for a day or charge the electric vehicles at the race site more than 350 times. Read more 👉 https://lnkd.in/gHHn6Fp9

Jenson Button’s JBXE outfit will have a new driver line-up for the Hydro X Prix in Scotland, as Amanda Sorensen returns to the Extreme E championship to partner Andreas Bakkerud. Sorensen made her debut last season for Chip Ganassi Racing, competing in all 10 Rounds alongside RJ Anderson and claiming two podium finishes. One of those top-three results came in Scotland. Amanda Sorensen, JBXE driver, said: “I had a really strong event the last time we raced in Scotland and it would be fantastic to get on the podium at the next race. The main thing, though, is to put in a strong performance alongside Andreas [Bakkerud] and get the team moving up the standings. I am excited to get back on the grid and racing again.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/gfiKvs93
