Our continued innovation in COFDM systems technology encompasses high performance, encrypted, bi-directional data links delivering video and IP to and from multiple air platforms over extended ranges in complex metropolitan area networks. ECS is able to offer system design and implementation of both fixed and portable microwave products. This would include studies of system planning to decide on the viability of use, path analysis, system design, integration of any OEM equipment, manufacture, installation and commissioning. Turnkey system solutions successfully completed in the past have included major fixed link networks and multiple vehicle systems fully equipped for police operations, as well as providing capabilities and support for major political and sporting events worldwide. The company has also provided a range of covert and low profile commercial and military vehicle installations and antenna designs for its range of RF Inhibitors for overseas customers, including coalition forces and the UN peacekeeping operations. ECS’s innovation in directional RF inhibition capability to counter both small consumer drones and more capable long range high performance winged drones is a major contributor to the enduring success of the AUDS C-UAS capability. This critical RF defeat element continues to be deployed across even more operational theatres, protecting people, critical infrastructure and security personnel. Due to the continuing expansion of our business capabilities, we are delighted to welcome Robert Perkowski to the SPX Communication Technologies (TCI|ECS) team, in his new role as Customer Support Engineer. Based at our Technology Park in Wappenham, UK, Robert joins our Customer Support Team with extensive and varied engineering experience in both Civilian and Military areas. Robert spent 8 years in the British Army in various leadership and support roles internationally, working with Tactical Communications among other areas. To relax, Robert enjoys playing badminton and has a passion for anything with an engine (particularly fast things!).
