🌟 Celebrating Emerging Talent at Eisai!🌟 Yesterday, we had the incredible opportunity to host our annual Emerging Talent Celebration Event, and it was nothing short of inspiring! 🎉 Our Apprentices and Interns from the past year, showcased their remarkable contributions through insightful presentations. We listened to the brilliant presentations from Tokasa Uru (Technical Apprentice), Rachel Hoines (Marketing Apprentice), Jazzmine Hill (Sustainability Intern), Royce Arhin (Manufacturing Systems IT Specialist Apprentice) and our former apprentice Rhys Archer (Quality Control Analyst). Their dedication and innovative ideas are shaping the future of Eisai, and we couldn't be more proud. A special highlight of the event was the empowering speech by EML Managing Director, Alex Felthouse. His words resonated with everyone as he emphasised the importance of nurturing and recognising rising talent at Eisai. The event also featured a TED Talk-style video that left us all motivated, and a captivating video reel that beautifully captured the journey of our Emerging Talent. It was great to showcase the engaging Q&A "day in the life" video from our EML Finance Apprentice Jake Samson, offering a glimpse into the experiences of the work he has done over the past year. And what’s a celebration without some delicious food? We wrapped up the event with a fun pizza lunch, where everyone had a chance to connect. This event was hosted by our Emerging Talent Manager, Nadine Bourne-Harris. Looking ahead, our Emerging Talent team will be led by the returning Abbie Lopez (Emerging Talent Manager) and supported by Ashleigh Williamson (Emerging Talent Administrator). The emerging talent team are preparing for a new cohort starting in September 2024. Well done to all involved. The future is bright! 📸 #EmergingTalent #Internship #Apprenticeship #Graduate #EarlyCareers #DiverseTalent #EisaiEMEA

As part of our human health care initiatives at our Head Office site, we have been working with a local care home to understand more about art therapy. Art can have a profound and important effect on encouraging people to be creative. It has power as a therapeutic tool, as well as being a valued source of expression and creativity. Art, when used as a form of therapy, supports participants to express themselves and can improve mental wellbeing.   We have installed 18 art works from local residents in our restaurant area for colleagues to look at and discuss throughout June and July.   At Eisai, we are working to pursue better brain health for all.

At Eisai, human health care (hhc) means thinking about patients, their care partners and people in our society, and seeking to understand life from their perspective - their joys, needs, wants, hopes and fears - as we strive to satisfy the unmet medical needs faced by patients and healthcare professionals. June 20th is World Kidney Cancer Day, and to raise awareness we are encouraging all colleagues to learn more about kidney cancer and how it affects patients and their loved ones. By liking and sharing this post, you too can help to raise awareness. June 2024 | EMEA-NON-24-00100

This week we have hosted a series of educational sustainability events for colleagues across our region. Our specialist partners in waste management and biodiversity joined us at the EMEA Knowledge Center to share what we are doing as a business to achieve our sustainability goals.   Eisai’s sustainability team, led by Jo, was available to discuss and answer any questions about sustainability at Eisai and give a talk mark World Environment Day yesterday. Last week a few of the team attended the D&I Leaders forum in London. It was a great two-day event, sharing not only best practice but also inspiration and thought-provoking presentations on how to continually evolve equity, diversity and inclusion practice in the workplace.

Did you know that an Alzheimer’s disease (AD) diagnosis can take up to two years?(1) This can be due to several factors including delaying seeking medical advice due to fear, stigma, and not wanting to worry their loved ones, and the belief that their symptoms are a natural part of ageing.(2) With an early diagnosis, support and interventions can be put in place to help those living with AD and their families.(3) At Eisai, we believe that all those impacted by AD deserve to receive meaningful support to help maintain their physical and emotional wellbeing for as long as possible, so that they can live fulfilling and healthy lives. If you think yourself or a loved one might have AD, or another form of dementia, please speak to a medical professional.   References: 1.      Woods, B., et al.
