    Today was our annual Pitchfest, where the whole eight&four Group gets together to competitively pitch against each other… Seven teams, two live client briefs, one winner 🥂 Pitching is the life blood of any agency, and this year’s format delivered training on GenAI production tools to level up pitch theatre, behavioural pyschology to focus emotional storytelling, and a fireside with a client who told us what they really want in a pitch. As always massive thanks to everyone who took part from eight&four, Inkling Culture and Feed Films Ltd 🙌

    What a great article. As humans we LOVE simple answers. But the answer to most questions in the world? "It depends 🤔" But AI likes to give simple answers. And it does it with authority. But is it an illusion we're falling for? Take a read of this article. It's a great riposte to the orgy of... "Look! 🤯 I just talked to it! And it talked back! 😱 It's alive!! 🧠" ...GenAI content we're all being overloaded with. This was a constant issue when we were developing eight&four's TOV AI tool Scholar ✏️ It's a tool that is trained specifically on a brand's TOV, and can check brand copy to ensure it's on brand. Really nice model - TOV governance at scale - we can integrate into company's publishing workflows etc. Sweet. However we quickly realised you can't 'score' TOV out of 100, like a maths test (although AI happily will do). TOV is subjective, it's fluid. It's not that simple. We instead have generated detailed reports feeding back on TOV, from a range of different angles, with suggested rewrites. Snappy? No. But actually pragmatic? We hope so...! https://lnkd.in/es3_BKkB
