Six schools took part in the Dukes Education Interschools Athletics event, Eaton House Schools, Eaton Square Prep School, Notting Hill Preparatory School, Orchard House School, Radnor House School Twickenham and The Pointer School. It was a wonderful display of skill, speed and stamina and, above all, sportsmanship. Well done to all of the children who took part and huge thanks go to the staff for making it such a memorable day. Many congratulations to overall winners, Orchard House School.

About us
Dukes Education is a family of schools and education organisations based in the UK. We bring together schools that are diverse in their offering, and yet united as outstanding examples of teaching and learning. Though a relatively new organisation, launched in 2015, Dukes has grown quickly and, in 2021 has four boarding and day colleges, 11 schools and 12 ‘Little Dukes’ feeder nurseries, with eight summer school locations, and a multi-branch university application consultancy service, over 4,400 pupils and just under 2,000 staff. Many of these schools and organisations are long-established, with decades of experience providing excellent teaching and care to students. We are now of sufficient scale to begin to shape what excellence looks like in the education space for children of all ages. Dukes celebrates the autonomy of our schools, with Principals and Heads leading on all decisions. Each member organisation is distinctive. However, we joined together because we found cultures in these organisations that shared characteristics – optimism, ambition, and a deep commitment to outstanding teaching and learning. We believe that together we will be more powerful in helping young people go on to live fulfilling lives.

Dukes schools took part in a special cricket match at the beautiful Wormsley Cricket ground in Buckinghamshire with ex England Captain Sir Andrew Strauss. Cricketers from Radnor House School Twickenham, Sancton Wood School, Knightsbridge School and Eaton Square Senior & Sixth (LPS Mayfair & LPS Sixth from Sept 24) schools played in a T20 match with the legendary player and had the opportunity to bowl against the cricket star. Sir Andrew chose players from Sancton Wood and Radnor House as players of the match and presented them with a signed shirt. It was a wonderful experience for the young cricketers who all had a great day; one parent reported, “my son hasn't stopped smiling since.” Thanks go to Mike Stanley, Head at The Lyceum School and cricket fanatic, for his excellent umpiring. https://lnkd.in/gG3pFBz

Many congratulations to Broomfield House School, Eaton Square Prep School and The Lyceum School for achieving Eco-Schools Green Flag accreditation this year. The schools worked through the seven steps to achieve accreditation and can now proudly display the Green Flag to demonstrate their commitment to environmental issues in their schools, their communities and everyday lives.
