📢 Big news from CoolKit 📢 Following our fire back in July, #TeamCoolKit has banded together with incredible resilience and we’re so proud to be bouncing back stronger than ever. Today, we are delighted to officially announce that we’ve moved to a new 75,000 sq ft premises located just off Junction 6 of the M65 in Blackburn. We’re sorry to be leaving Burnley but extremely excited for the future of CoolKit as this new site will help us to deliver our ambitious growth strategy. We’ve already started to move some of our operations to this site, with the plan to have the entire business relocated by the start of 2024. The management team would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our amazing team, our customers, suppliers and partners and the wider business community who have rallied behind us, and our estate agent Taylor Weaver and our new landlord, Carolis for their efforts and support in finding, letting us view and securing the site so quickly. Once you choose CoolKit, it’s hard to look anywhere else 🤝 One of Lancashire and Yorkshire’s most versatile catering businesses, Total Food Service, requires an equally versatile transport system. That’s where we come in… Five years ago, they came to us for our specialist temperature-controlled vans to suit their multi-drop service. TFS vans require different temperatures to keep their payload in their optimum state during multiple deliveries, so they chose CoolKit for our bespoke vans designed to their needs 🫵 Read about our long-standing relationship with TFS, here: https://lnkd.in/e6hfKawi

CoolKit is always growing, and our employees grow with us 📈 Our manufacturing manager Chris Ellor spent 10 days at the Manufacturing Institute, undergoing intensive courses on lean manufacturing. The courses re-enforced Chris’ knowledge on manufacturing techniques, offering a fresh perspective and best practices to utilise. Chris has been busy putting the lessons into action, spreading his knowledge around the team. Read about Chris’ progress on our website: https://lnkd.in/dxdscYg2

No matter the result last night, we’re proud of England’s incredible journey to their second consecutive European Championship final 🏴 CoolKit staff had the option of a late start or a rearranged workday to mark the occasion as they wished. We put our people first and wanted everyone to enjoy the game regardless. The future is bright for England, especially with an East Lancashire boy in their ranks 💙 #Euro2024

We are so proud to announce that CoolKit is an official patron of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone 💙 Our fundraising efforts during the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge gave us an insight into the incredible work that the charity do for young people in our community, and we wanted to pledge our continued support. CoolKit’s finance manager Gill Hayes and head of people Georgina Grice got to know the team at the Youth Zone, learning all about the work they do to discover how we can help. We’re a proud member of the East Lancashire community and want to ensure that our presence is felt beyond manufacturing. You can read about the patronage, here: https://lnkd.in/e35Shu98
