Bethany from our Angus Court Service had her Prom last week, and planned out her dream Prom experience 🤩 Bethany independently chose her dress 👗, enjoyed make up and hair trials, and wished to have a professional photographer. She also helped organise her travel to Prom in a BMW! A special thank you to to Kerry Clark photography and all the staff who helped make Bethany's dream Prom night possible. #bestlivespossible

With today marking the beginning of the #Paris2024 #Olympics, we’re reflecting on how the people we support are living their #bestlivespossible through sport thanks to our volunteer programme and the opportunities presented to them through our amazing sports partnerships. Whilst this isn’t Team GB, this video shows how we’ve worked in the sport of Women’s football, and showcases the impact our involvement with sport has on the people we support👇

The launch of the first ever easy read guide to a major event successfully enabled people we support to discover Rugby League and be part of the Betfred Challenge Cup Final. As one of Britain’s biggest and most successful social care charities, we partnered with the Rugby Football League to create the pioneering accessible resource, explaining the key rules of Rugby League and providing essential information about the finalists, Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves, for people who require adapted, simplified communication and presentation. Empowered by the supportive communications in the guide and dedicated support from our specialist teams, more than 20 people we support in London, Warrington and Wigan were amongst the first-time fans living their dreams at Wembley Stadium. This guide represents another innovation in the long-term partnership between the Rugby Football League and ourselves as their Official Social Care Partner, to champion social impact and inclusion.
