On World Green Roof Day in June, we were tagged in a post of a LEGO green bus shelter set. We loved it, as it showed our commitment to sustainability and biodiversity continues to make an impact on the public and communities we serve. Who doesn't love our Living Roofs A.K.A 'Buzz Stops'? 🐝 So, we set the #PeopleBehindThePosters a challenge: make their own green bus shelter out of #LEGO they have at home. And we had lots of entries, yet Brittany Abi-Nader truly went above and beyond with her entry. This Pride season, our Queer Channel Crew (ERG) partnered with McCann London to support 'Queering the Map' across Clear Channel Europe. ✨ By transforming real stories from the Queering the Map platform into unique URL domains, we turned lived experiences into campaign headlines. From the raw and emotional to the funny and relatable, these URLs redirected users to the original pins on the platform, creating a powerful connection to local pride events. This marked our third creative collaboration, following impactful partnerships like '16th Century Life Expectancy' for UK Black Pride and 'Fabruary' for LGBTQIA+ History Month! 🙌 Meet one of our #PeopleBehindThePosters, Luke Harris, from our Manchester sales team. He’s been with Clear Channel for two years and is a member of our Queer Channel Crew. ‘There have been many highlights for me since joining Queer Channel, including RuPaul’s DragCon (of course) and getting to see all the campaigns we support go live, as well as having a part to play in shaping them! This year we also continued supporting the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Pride in London, Brighton Pride CIC, Manchester Pride and our long-standing friend Martin Firrell with his 'All Varieties' campaign. London Borough of Tower Hamlets Council's '#ChargeSafe Tower Hamlets' campaign won Gold in the Community Social Impact Category at the #OutdoorMediaAwards! 🏆 🚴♂️🔥 E-bikes and e-scooters are becoming a major fire risk in London, especially in Tower Hamlets where 18 fires were recorded in 2023, one of which was sadly fatal. Through a dedicated #ChargeSafe campaign, London Borough of Tower Hamlets Council has worked hard to reduce these incidents by 50% in just six months. This multi-channel effort includes collaboration with the Council’s Trading Standards team to remove unsafe batteries, and comprehensive public awareness initiatives.
