CGC Event Caterers

This week was a busy week at CGC! Many of our teams are in full flow of creating incredible moments for our clients and delicious meals. This week we were at; - Pontefract Racecourse - Great Yorkshire Show at Yorkshire Event Centre - Catterick Racecourse - York Racecourse All whilst preparing for the Farnborough International Airshow, we do love a busy week and to see our teams working effortlessly together to create an incredible experience for guests!

We're fortunate to get to work in some incredible venues for exciting events. One of those venues is the magnificent Yorkshire Event Centre, who host events such as; - The Great Yorkshire Show - The Yorkshire Motorhome and Caravan Show As well as large conferences for companies such as Shark Ninja and many more! At the Yorkshire Event Centre, we are kept on our toes to keep delegates well-fed and hydrated with a variety of food styles, whether it is a three-course sit down meal or a delicious buffet. All our food is prepared fresh from scratch, allowing us to cater to a wide range of dietary requirements. We are always up for a challenge and the Yorkshire Event Centre always provides us with an exciting challenge whether we are catering for a charity gala or a trade show! 1 year of Chef Brian, we’re so grateful to have Brian onboard, he embodies the company values in every aspect of his role. Brian brought a wealth of knowledge to CGC and has implemented and encouraged his team to learn from him and improve our kitchens. We can’t wait to see what the next year brings!🧑🏻🍳

Last weekend some of our fabulous team were over at Newcastle Racecourse to support with the Northumberland Plate Day!🍽️ Our incredible chefs truly embodied our company values with their creative discipline. June was a fantastic month for our CGC team! There have been too many incredible events for us to not share!🌟 🍽️ We catered a 21st birthday party at Thirsk Racecourse, with a couple of our team attending and having a great time! 👨💻Some of our team attended the ASM and CGC Food and Beverage Forum where we got to learn all about tequila and what is happening at all of the venues, not forgetting a great exercise where we saw CGC and ASM go head to head in shooting hoops. 💡Yorkshire Event Centre hosted a large conference for Shark Ninja with some incredible food including sweet chili broccoli, a selection of wraps, pesto rigatoni with roasted vegetables and much more! We also got to see our brand new chef whites in action! 🛶 Many of our team took to the water in a Dragon Boat Race on behalf of Martin House to raise funds for children and young people with life-shortening conditions. 🎁Sadly we said farewell to Tim Wray as our Managing Director after 31 years of leading the company. We appreciate everything Tim has contributed to the company and will be missed. 🏇Our chefs have been busy cooking up a storm at multiple venues throughout June including; Wetherby, Ripon, Beverly, Catterick, Pontefract, Redcar and a special feature at Newcastle Plate Day!
