Last week, the Ceres team attended the Electrolyser Fuel Cell Forum (#EFCF2024) in Lucerne, Switzerland to provide a #technology update on our bold solid oxide electrolysis programme.   Subhasish Mukerjee, Chief Scientific Officer at Ceres, shared his thoughts: "It was fantastic to see the rapid progress using #SOFC and #SOEC for multiple applications utilising green #hydrogen and clean power. The Ceres Board were recently in #Germany to see the fantastic progress being made by our partner Bosch Hydrogen Energy. Bosch is developing solid oxide fuel cell products, based on Ceres' #proprietary solid oxide #technology. Bosch are currently running a number of pilot projects prior to series production, to showcase how the fuel flexible, highly efficient technology will play a part in the energy transition, particularly for commercial and data centre applications. Jon Harman, Technology Delivery Director at Ceres will be in Manchester tomorrow to speak at the UK's Hydrogen Innovation Showcase. Hosted by the Hydrogen Innovation Initiative (HII), Innovate UK, and the EPSRC Hydrogen Hubs, UK-HyRES: Hub for Research Challenges in Hydrogen and Alternative Liquid Fuels, and HI-ACT. The aim of the event is to shine a spotlight on the cutting-edge projects and players driving the UK hydrogen value chain forward. As a leading developer of clean energy technology, Ceres is engaged across the hydrogen value chain to activate the market for highly efficient solid oxide technology. In particular, we are focused on the hard-to-abate, high temperature industrial processes, such as the production of green steel, ammonia and synthetic fuels, with the potential to reduce the overall capital and operational project costs.
