Yesterday, the UN Secretary General called for a ban on fossil fuel advertising. Recently, Simon Mair discussed the potential city role in ending fossil fuel advertising in the Journal of City Climate Policy and Economy ( https://lnkd.in/ea_F2ceM ). Given that a Canadian industry advocacy group was just caught making outrageously false claims by the advertising standards board, ( https://lnkd.in/eUEzCmHZ ) the UNSG has a point.
