Celebrating four years without a single Lost Time Accident (LTA) at our ‘Halesfield 19’ clingfilm and aluminium production site in Telford, UK! 👏 Nicola Punchard, Group HSE Manager at Cedo, explained the significance: “We are very proud of this fantastic achievement by the team and this continued success year on year, does not happen by accident! Even with a significant implementation of new production and warehousing equipment in 2024, the health and safety of our employees was never compromised." She added: "The team have a “safety first” attitude and are always looking out for themselves and each other. We continue to share best health and safety practices across the Cedo Group and we are looking forward to achieving further milestones in all of our manufacturing facilities worldwide. Great job!” Steve Hounslow, Production Manager, attributes this success to strict adherence to safety procedures: “Our unwavering commitment to safety protocols has led us to this incredible milestone. Leading the H19 team to achieve this record fills me with pride.” Thierry Navarre, CEO, also commended the team: “This is a great achievement you can all be very proud of. The Cedo office in Mönchengladbach, Germany, has recently undergone an expansion and transformation – now offering improved facilities that will also help to support our colleagues’ health and wellbeing. Another significant Health and Safety milestone has been reached at one of Cedo’s key manufacturing facilities, with the news that Site 2 in Kąty Wrocławskie, Poland, has achieved one year without a Lost Time Accident (LTA). 🇵🇱 Paweł Rosiński, Production Manager at Cedo in Poland, said: “Over two years ago, we started a program to increase awareness of hazards in the workplace, involving employees reporting dangerous situations, threats, and behaviours, as well as responding to such observations and incidents.” “We wanted every employee to understand the significant impact they have on their own safety as well as the safety of their colleagues. A year without an accident is a perfect example of how working on changing behaviour brings direct benefits.” Anna Połchowska, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager at Cedo in Poland, added: “We strive for everyone to be more cautious and aware of hazards – and to incorporate safety principles into their daily lives.” “It’s not just about following safe work practices in their job, but also remembering about safety while performing basic daily activities at home, in the garden or when spending time with the family.
