IT’S ESSENTIAL TO TALK ABOUT YOUR INTERESTS IN A JOB INTERVIEW WHEN ASKED 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I was chatting to someone this week about interview prep before her final stage meeting for a role in Private Equity. The lady asked me how much detail she should give about herself when asked by the hiring manager. And my answer was - show the interviewer who you are and make yourself standout! So rather than saying: “I like sport and I like to keep fit and read” which is obviously quite a forgettable and basic answer, give more details and specifics and show your personality. So for example I am passionate about a few things that people might not be aware of (see photos) ⚽️I love to go and watch Leyton Orient FC home and away as much as possible with my other half Sophie. We are hooked and have just purchased season tickets for the first time. 👕On that same theme, I also love to collect and wear vintage football shirts, particularly from when I was growing up in the 90’s. 🌽 I am also a proud Allotmenteer and we grow our own fruit and veg on a little plot near our house in East London and we love it! Now everyone is different but regardless of what you are passionate about, giving enough detail about yourself can really help show who you are.
