Last week, members of our Agri-Environmental Consultancy Team attended the National Organic Conference, expanding their knowledge on organic processes and learning about various ongoing research projects. Highlights of the day included a variety of seminars on interesting topics affecting the organic and environmental sectors, an organic meal, and a site walk, which comprised of talks on herbal leys, improving soil health, and a mobile cattle system. Yesterday evening, our Bury St Edmunds office hosted their annual cricket tournament and BBQ with local professional firms Churchgates, Ellisons Solicitors and Pigeon. Despite a few showers earlier in the afternoon, the weather held for the games and following the two semi-finals, the final match saw Team Ellisons face defending champions from last year's tournament, Team Pigeon. With excellent play from both sides the close match ended on a tied score leading to a Super Over tie break. Eventually Team Ellisons were crowned victorious! Thank you to Nowton Cricket Club for hosting the event, and to all those who joined us for the evening - we are already looking forward to a rematch next year!
