‘“You can't tell your brand's entire story in one Instagram Reel,” Edgerley said. She adds that consumers are often bombarded with paid partnerships on their feeds and long-term, successful working relationships with a creator are essential if brands want to ensure the output they pay for is authentic.’ In July, our Director of Influence, Lucy Edgerley spoke at The Drum’s Influencer event. Lucy highlighted the value creators add to social listening, the importance in long-term brand partnerships, and the balance AI could bring to our algorithms. 100% favourite, 0.0% alcohol Congratulations to the Diageo GB team as Guinness takes the top spot as #1 alcohol free beer in the UK. We've loved partnering on this launch, pushing the boundaries of the category to reach new audiences through social. Bringing moderation to the masses in a way that only Guinness could, only Guinness would 🤝 Write-up in the comments 👇

"It’s a masterclass in building with your community, not just for them to create authentic and engaged fandom. The strategy acknowledges that broadcasting a big top-down message doesn’t cut it, and the role of the brand is to feed the community. " Head of Strategy, Essi Nurminen spoke to Creativebrief, spotlighting the cultural phenomenon, 'brat' campaign as the epitome of community building on social. Memes can drive your social strategy. Your social strategy should drive your marketing strategy. Your marketing strategy will drive your business performance. So, memes can drive business performance. Amazing to see Debra Crew, CEO of Diageo earlier this week in her F24 results call with investors credit Guinness’ community-first marketing model as fuelling the brand’s exceptional performance in tough trading conditions at the moment. POV: your trainee scheme now has two generations of talent 🥹🚀😭✨❤️ When we launched Born Ready last year, I was nervous, excited, apprehensive & eager to see what would unfold. Taking the privilege and responsibility of playing a small part in the early days of someone’s career really really seriously. And wanting to make sure our talent on the scheme were nurtured and growing, and would leave us feeling confident to take on a role in the industry. So to see this photograph today has me in my feels. Firstly, that our 2023 trainees BOTH now work for us full time in roles that they want to pursue. Sunvir Mangat returned to us early this year to take a Social Media Executive role on a new account, and Semira Hamden came straight back after finishing her degree in a newly created role as Production Coordinator in our growing production arm. And secondly, to see our 2024 trainees thriving! Genuinely so proud of the stamp Tyrese Walters & Tanya Tang are already putting on Born Social just six weeks in. And so looking forward to watching them develop in the coming weeks & months. So yeah, here’s our two Born Ready generations altogether… and here’s to adding many more in the future 🚀🚀🚀 Sorry for the embarrassing facebook mom style post team, hope you’ll forgive me xoxo
