With Shinfield Studios, Berkshire Film Office only a phone call away, local crew available and such amazing local facilities, it couldn't be easier for productions looking to shoot in #Berkshire.

Last week we welcomed Minister for Employment, Jo Churchill MP to Shinfield Studios. She spent the afternoon at the Studios to meet some of the participants of one of Screen Berkshire's most recent programmes to help people train and start careers in the TV & film industry.   Together with our partners in Screen Berkshire, Resource Productions, University of Reading and Bedlam Film Productions, we provided an overview of the SWAP programme. It stands for Sector-based Work Academy Programme and, with the support of the Berkshire Job Centre, this brilliant initiative has been designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and contacts to access work in film and the wider creative industries.    Jo joined our trainees on Stage 2 where they spent the afternoon filming and gaining invaluable experience working on a set. We're all looking forward to seeing them take their next steps in this fantastic industry. #swaps
