🎉 Today is the NHS 76th birthday! 🎉 A lot has happened at the North London Mental Health Partnership since the NHS turned 75, so we’re taking this moment to reflect on our achievements and thank our incredible staff and volunteers who make our NHS so special! In the 2023-24 financial year, we supported over 150,000 people across 5 boroughs! We opened 2 new buildings: Highgate East and Lowther Road Integrated Mental Health Centre. Plus, our wards at Blossom Court at St Ann’s Hospital became the first acute wards to receive prestigious CCA accreditation across the Partnership! This year, we launched our 5 Year Strategy, our People and Organisational Development Strategy, and our Clinical Strategy. Our new website and intranet provide service users and staff with essential info in our new digital hub, and we're progressing towards a single organisation with a developed patient benefits case. What’s been your highlight of the NHS over the last year? 🤔 Share your thoughts and join us in celebrating our collective achievements! 🎊 #HealthcareHeroes #MentalHealthMatters #NHS76

We had a blast at the Pride March in London on Saturday as 30 members of our LGBTQ+ staff network, friends and family joined the march proudly representing the Partnership. Our Chief Digital and Information Officer, Sarah Wilkins, also joined us for the march which this year saw thousands of people at the march including lots of colleagues from other NHS Trusts. 🏳️🌈🌈💙🙌📣 #PrideMonth #PrideInLondon #Proud #London #LGBTQ

Last week some of our Children and Young People's Services team presented at the RCpsych International Congress 2024 around their research on young people's co-production. Haleemah Ahmed, Assistant Psychologist in our CYPS, presented a qualitative research project alongside lived experience researchers. The project explored the experiences of young people co-producing with CYPS services in Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. The research identified barriers and facilitators perceived by young people and led to impactful recommendations for the trust, such as ensuring a consistent feedback loop between communities and healthcare services, training healthcare staff on co-production, employing a co-production lead, and considering the placement of co-production projects on Harts Co-production ladder. This collaborative effort has been instrumental in improving our co-production methods, something which we remain committed to embracing as a Partnership. #RCPsychIC #CoProduction #MentalHealth #RCpsychCongress2024 #YouthInvolvement #CAMHS #Research #HealthcareInnovation

Last week, our Children and Young People's Services (CYPS) held our first walk-in clinic in the community. Thank you to Jubilee Church for partnering with us and inviting us to support the community on their premises. This walk-in clinic is a pilot project led by the CYPS division, with a simple aim: to make mental health services accessible to children and young people, reducing barriers such as long wait times and unfamiliar environments. Watch the video here ➡️ https://bit.ly/3VC2VAC Our offerings include consultations for parents, carers, and professionals, therapeutic interventions, and monthly online webinars on children and young people's mental health. We look forward to extending this project to other faith and community groups. If you are interested in getting involved, or know a group that would be interested, please comment down below and we will get in touch! #MentalHealth #ChildrensMentalHealth #ChildMentalHealth #FatihGroups #CommunityOrganisations
