Guru Nanak Social Mobility Scholarships 2024 Celebrating the 555th birthday of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism. This year’s competition is now open to all aspiring barristers from working class backgrounds, regardless of faith or non-faith. There is no essay this year – instead applicants must send a 5-10 min video presentation on: "Why I should be awarded a Guru Nanak Social Mobility Bar Scholarship" Up to five prized of £555 will be awarded and up to 12 months of mentoring. Some work experience may be offered and all genuine applicants will be offered assistance with pupillage forms for the 2025 pupillage application process. The deadline is 2 August 2024.
