Today we held a celebratory lunch in the Ascot Authority room for the winning breeders from #RoyalAscot 2024. We were thrilled to welcome over 20 of them to Ascot today on QIPCO King George Friday.

#Ascot Racecourse is pleased to announce that BetMGM will sponsor the Autumn Racing Weekend and extend its sponsorship of the Clarence House Chase Raceday in multi-year deals. This commitment highlights BetMGM's support for British racing across both Flat and National Hunt codes. During the BetMGM Autumn Racing Weekend, BetMGM will sponsor three races each day, including the feature races: the Listed BetMGM Noel Murless Stakes on Friday and the BetMGM Challenge Cup Heritage Handicap on Saturday. For the BetMGM Clarence House Chase Raceday, BetMGM will sponsor six races, featuring the Grade 1 BetMGM Clarence House Chase and the Grade 2 BetMGM Mares’ Hurdle. BetMGM UK, operated by LeoVegas Group and part of MGM Resorts International, has a growing presence in British racing with sponsorships like the All-Weather Championships and the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. NEW: Half Year Racecourse Attendance Figures Released 2,314,458 racegoers attended a British racecourse in the first half of 2024 at 695 fixtures, according to official figures collected by the Horserace Betting Levy Board. Average attendance increases 1.9% year-on-year, but total attendance decreases 1.9% with abandonments increasing from 38 to 54. https://lnkd.in/evX8KeTE

Now in its third year, this event achieved a record attendance, with invited charities joining in the spirit of giving. The day commenced with eager anticipation as guests arrived to sample the restaurant service across 12 distinct dining venues. From Afternoon Tea to exquisite four-course meals prepared by Michelin-starred chefs like Lisa Goodwin-Allen and Tom Shepherd, the culinary options delighted attendees. The Sandringham, On 5, The Old Press Room, Gaucho Grill and other restaurants played gracious hosts to charity representatives, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and goodwill.
