The organic pavilion structure called 'Perspectives' is a unique creation that sits on the Surrey Hills at Winterfold, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. Inspired by messages found in public spaces like trees and benches, Giles Miller collected poetry, initials, and expressions of love from local schools, residents, and other contributors. These messages are intricately etched onto the cedar shingles that cover the pavilion, creating a beautiful display that seems to reach out towards the valley below. While the shingles serve a functional purpose of protecting visitors from the elements, they also create a visually striking effect as they appear to flow outwards towards the landscape, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Surrey Hills.
