Do you know if your company meets the criteria for issuing #EMI shares? Under EMI, the company has to have: ➡️Gross assets of less than £30 million. ➡️Fewer than 250 employees ➡️Undertaking a qualifying trade. (There is a list of trades that don't qualify.) ➡️Permanent establishment in the UK. ➡️Be independent. ➡️Plus a few more. It is possible to get advance assurance from HMRC that they are happy the company qualifies to issue options under EMI and we can help with that.
