We’re also proud that Jaskiran Sandhu has been shortlisted for Woman of the Year – In-house Adviser Support, and Poppy Campbell-Lamerton, Chartered FCSI for Woman of the Year – Investment Advice. 7IM has also been shortlisted for Contribution to Gender Diversity - Financial Services, which is a testament to its commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Wenqian Zeng isn’t necessarily the biggest fan of football, but she has always been easily affected by the excitement and passion around competitions like the Euro 2024.   But if there’s something that she’s naturally passionate about, it’s ESG. Is football a sustainable sport? It’s feel-good Friday, and we feel great about wrapping up Pride Month with incredible crafts sessions in our London and Edinburgh offices! During June, so many people gathered to celebrate diversity through charity initiatives, thought-provoking panel discussions, quizzes, and many other events. A huge thank you to those who take part in fostering inclusion and belonging at 7IM.

As the UK election approaches, market reactions have remained unusually subdued. With a clear timeline, predictable outcomes (if you believe the polling trackers), and non-radical party policies, the typical market jitters are notably absent. As part of our #Pride2024 celebrations, this week, 7IM were delighted to welcome Emily Hamilton from Trans in the City, to participate in our panel discussion with colleagues. We covered everything from allyship, to the importance of inclusion and belonging, to changes in the industry. We were humbled to hear some of the stories both Emily and our panellists had to share about their experiences of being part of the LGBTQIA+ and being allies for the community. This week, our Pride Network organised an amazing Charity Committee Bake Sale!   Needless to say, all the rainbow cupcakes, delicious cookies, and many other treats on sale were testament to the team’s outstanding baking abilities, as well as its commitment to fostering an environment of diversity, inclusion and belonging.   Together, we’re creating a workplace where everyone can be their true selves and celebrate their unique identities.
