Rob Lowe is being succeeded by his son in the latest trailer for Unstable Season 2, premiering Thursday, Aug. 1 on Netflix.

In the comedy’s new season, “universally admired, eccentric, narcissist-adjacent biotech entrepreneur Ellis Dragon (Rob Lowe) lays out a series of challenges and mind games for his son Jackson (John Owen Lowe) to see if he has what it takes to succeed him as the heir to the Dragon empire, but does a newcomer have other ideas?” reads the official description.

In addition to the father-son duo, returning series regulars include Aaron Branch as Malcolm, Emma Ferreira as Ruby, Rachel Marsh as Luna and Sian Clifford as Anna. Season 2’s recurring cast, some new and others familiar, features Fred Armisen, Lamorne Morris, Iris Apatow, Frank Gallegos, JT Parr, Tom Allen and Sean Clements.
