Great American Family is gifting fans of Candace Cameron Bure with not one, but two Christmas movies this holiday season.
TVLine exclusively revealed the title, premise and first photo from A Christmas Less Traveled, which centers on a down-on-her-luck proprietor (played by Bure) who embarks on a life-changing road trip. Now, Great American Family is announcing that Bure will also executive-produce and star in Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells, opposite soap vet Cameron Mathison.
The made-for-TV movie casts Bure as Gracie, the “Peachtree Inn’s perfect wedding planner and whose mantra — ‘No problems, only solutions waiting to be discovered’ — makes blushing brides’ dreams come true,” according to the official logline. “When Charlie (played by Mathison) brings his sister and future brother-in-law to their former hometown of Butler, S.C., expecting to create a magical Christmas Eve wedding at the Inn for Lindsay and Josh, the trio is stunned when Gracie stubbornly declines the job, saying it is not possible to pull off the perfect wedding two weeks before Christmas. Eventually, Gracie relents and agrees to plan the wedding, only to discover there are more hurdles to overcome than expected.” (TV Insider was first to report the news.)
Both A Christmas Less Traveled and Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells will arrive in November as part of the network’s annual “Great American Christmas” lineup. Beforehand, Bure will return to the Hallmark competitor to headline another movie, The Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Winemaker, which is expected to premiere in September.
Bure previously executive-produced and starred in a pair of Great American Family Christmas movies: 2022’s A Christmas… Present and 2023’s My Christmas Hero. She also served as an EP on 2022’s Christmas on Candy Cane Lane (starring Full House’s Andrea Barber) and 2023’s A Christmas for the Ages (starring Natasha Bure).
You know, you don’t have to give publicity to a homophobe…
Let’s give the homophobe some attention why don’t we. Do better TVLine.
Why does it look like there’s two comments from one person?
There probably is.
Going to miss Candace and Cameron on hallmark
I can’t believe he would go to great American country.I will stick with Hallmark 🤣🤣🤣
Then look at Great American Family. You may enjoy it.
If Cameron Mathison married Candace Cameron Bure, took her last name and then divorced her before marrying her brother, Kirk Cameron, he’d be Cameron Cameron Bure Cameron.
This is something Max from Happy Endings would come up with lmao
“A Christian Nationalist Christmas?”
TVLine -What about all the anti-Christian remarks here? Isn’t this just another form of intolerance and bigotry?
they’re actually anti homophobe comments, the fact that you automatically think they’re “anti christian” says a lot about you…
