Arrowverse ‘Elseworlds’ Crossover Poster Reveals Superhero Switcheroo
The CW on Tuesday unfurled the poster for this year’s three-night, Legends-less Arrowverse crossover event, and it will have you looking at Green Arrow and The Flash in a whole new way.
The “Elseworlds” theme is a nod to the DC Comics imprint that served up storylines that perhaps existed outside of regular continuity. Ergo the poster’s “Destiny Will Be Rewritten” tagline.
But where is Supergirl, the third piece of the crossover? (Dare we hope that she and Batwoman have swapped alter egos in this narrative??)
The poster reveal comes on the heels of the unveiling of Ruby Rose’s Batwoman costume and Tyler Hoechlin’s dark new Superman duds.

This year’s Arrowverse crossover event will air Sunday, Dec. 9 through Tuesday, Dec. 11, comprised of the ninth episodes of The Flash (airing on a special night), Arrow and Supergirl (airing on a special night). Guest stars include Ruby Rose (Orange Is the New Black) as Batwoman/Kate Kane, Tyler Hoechlin (reprising his role as Supergirl‘s Superman/Clark Kent), Elizabeth Tulloch (Grimm) as Lois Lane, Jeremy Davies (Lost) as Arkham Asylum doc John Deegan), LaMonica Garrett (Designated Survivor) as Mar Novu aka The Monitor and Cassandra Jean Amell as Mr. Freeze’s wife, Nora.

Sister series Legends of Tomorrow, meanwhile, is serving up a “crossover” episode of its own that week, not one to be left out of the fun.

I forgot to add would this be a way to merge all the Earth’s together or at least merge Earth 2 and Earth 38 together?
The show has planned on doing Crisis on Infinite Earths in Season 10 since it’s inception. Every clue dropped just adds more information to the 2024 Crisis being THE Crisis; most recent clue being Eobard with the Anti-Monitor’s Shadow Demons. So I do not think you are going to see any merging before then.

they’re talking about Flash season 10, the entire Arrowverse has been leading to their own adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths from the comics but i think their going to put their own twist on it like, i think not only we’ll we get all the DC shows on The CW involved but also some other CW shows like Riverdale and Supernatural possibly being merged like a CW multiverse becoming one i know that’s a lot to take in but i think if its done right its going to be the most epic event we’ll ever see on television.
I want Earth 1 and Earth 38 merged, so we come back midseason for a brand new status quo — and only the Legends are aware anything changed! Like there to be a comical scene where an alien walks down the street in Star City.

The crossover events have been really fun so far, and I hope this year also delivers, especially with the added hype and the new viewers it’s likely to get.

I understand why they don’t have characters cross over more, but I think they need to talk about why such and such can’t help more often. Cause let’s face it, the Flash could solve most of Star City problems..in a flash lol.

And Barry as the Arrow? Uhm… no. Not to sound mean or anything, but all that Arrow would be able to do is shoot arrows and use gadjets. And don’t come hating on me, because I like Grant the way he is; but can you honestly see him fighting like Stephen does?
It’s pretty difficult to find an outfit that Stephen Amell doesn’t look good in, but congrats shows, you did it! Hahaha Stephen is realllllllllly earning his money by having to appear in public and on tv in THAT.
